What We Do
We here at the Supernatural/Paranormal Investigations and Research Institute pride ourselves on respectful, but skeptical analysis of claims of supernatural or paranormal phenomenon to ensure that you as a client receive the most accurate answers to all of your questions and concerns regarding strange happenings in your home or business. Please note that we are not professional exorcists, and require a waiver of consent to begin any kind of investigation on a private business or property for legal reasons.
Hauntings/Apparitions
We here at SPIRIT investigate all four types of hauntings - Residual, Intelligent, Poltergeist, and demonic hauntings, and try to unravel the reasons behind the appearances of apparitions, be it innocuous or malevolent. We first try to rule out external factors such as environmental, emotional, or other types of interference before beginning the official investigation. Those who opt for a haunting/apparition investigation will first be subject to an interview process, at the end of which, will be asked to sign a legal waiver allowing SPIRIT investigators to conduct an investigation on their home or business. We do this for legality and file classification purposes.
In the event that there is a suspected demonic haunting, we at SPIRIT do NOT perform exorcisms, and cannot fully guarantee that we can get you one, as that decision will rest with the Roman Catholic Church.
We can, however offer alternative protection rituals based on numerous studies of occult practices.
Haunted Objects
Haunted Objects usually fall under the title of "Demonic" Hauntings, but there have been cases where they have been found to be the product of a hysterical mind, or something less malicious but still unexplainable. The SPIRIT Team does not offer relocation of haunted items at this time due to a lack of a secure facility, but would be more than happy to confirm any lingering suspicions regarding items that have brought an unwanted presence into your home.
UFO Phenomenon Investigations
While one of the most challenging fields to study and document, the SPIRIT Team works diligently with other agencies to either confirm, or disprove the appearances of Unidentified flying objects over the skies of the Peace Region. Using photographic analysis, eyewitness testimonies, and a knowledge of atmosphereic phenomenon, SPIRIT is determined to answer your questions in regards to any strange lights you may have seen or documented.
Cryptid Hunts
While we have a lack of Bigfoots, Lock Ness Monsters, or even Dover Demons here in the Peace Region, it still does not deter the SPIRIT team from pursuing an interest in searching for some of the world's most elusive creatures.
